What this work is like

You don't have to arrive with the right words. Most people who come here have only a feeling — that their body is holding something it won't put down, that the tiredness goes deeper than sleep can reach, that they've gone a little numb to a self they used to feel from the inside. That's enough to begin. You'll be met exactly where you are, in English or Hindi, in person in Tustin or online over Zoom, and nothing will be rushed.

The work itself is gentler than you might expect. This isn't the dramatic, overwhelming thing the internet might have shown you. There's nothing to brace against and nothing to push through. You'll be guided to soften your attention back into the body, into the places that have been clenched or quiet for a long time, and given the space to let what's been held there begin to move. You stay aware the whole time. You stay in control the whole time. It feels less like being treated and more like finally being allowed to rest.

Change here tends to be quiet rather than dramatic. A breath that goes a little deeper. A shoulder that drops on its own. Energy that returns before you've named where it went. People are often surprised by how ordinary it feels — and then surprised again that the ordinary is exactly what they'd been missing.

The method, named

The work happens through Kundalini Awakening — Anand's gentle interpretation of working with the body's deeper energy, not the dramatic version you may have seen online. It's a careful, attentive way of helping the body release what it has been holding.
